Stewardship Starts at the Water’s Edge

Protect What You Love

The rivers that give us unforgettable days on the water need our help.

Join Alberta's fly-fishing community in removing trash from riverbanks, protecting fish and wildlife habitat, and keeping our waters wild.

From the rolling foothills to the Prairie grasslands, Alberta's river valleys are home to rainbow, Brown, Cutthroat, and Bull trout, and countless wildlife species.
Through volunteer-led cleanup events, we're giving back to the waters that sustain us all.

Give back to the bow

  • Calgary - Cranston

    September 20, 9:00AM to Noon

Co-hosted by the Alberta Wilderness Association, join us in the morning as we cleanup the banks of the Bow River in Cranston. Door prizes provided by local fly shops and supporters.

Sorry, while we pilot this project we’re unable to invite minors. Due to our proximity to the river and potential for hazardous waste, this is an 18+ event.

The rivers already connect us. HOMEWATERS makes that connection visible, bringing together anglers, conservation groups, fly shops, clubs, and supporters near and far to give back to the rivers, streams and tributaries we call home.
